Czech Visa Application
For Ghanaian citizens who intend to apply for long-term resident permits and long-term visas to the Czech Republic, they have to follow the steps highlighted below;
First, they have to schedule an appointment by sending a message to this email. The subject of this email for booking an appointment should contain only the passport number of the applicant.
Meanwhile, e-mails that do not contain this vital information will not be processed. Each applicant can only send one email. Any individual who submits more than one email (duplication of the passport number) will be excluded.
The email should contain the following information; surname and first name, passport number, date of birth, phone number, as well as the email. The purpose of travel and other attached documents like marriage certificate, birth certificate, employment contract, proof of travel purpose, etc. should also be there.
Note that the received applications will be processed in the right order. After the applications have been vetted and found to be genuine, the applicant will now receive an appointment date. These appointment dates cannot be changed or rescheduled.
Besides, you are not permitted to swap an appointment date with another person. If an applicant cancels his/her appointment, this implies that the person has to reapply by following the steps highlighted above.
Czech Short-Stay Visa Procurement
For short-stay visa, you may need to apply for a Schengen visa as it allows you to stay for 90 days. When you apply for this visa, you need to state the type of visa you need, whether a single or multiple-entry visa.
Endeavour to submit your application at least one month before the date of departure because the processing of the visa may take at most 15 days.
Generally, the processing of a short-stay visa takes up to 15 days, but the period might be extended if more information is needed.
Getting a short-stay Schengen visa does not guarantee your entry into the Schengen area. At the point of entry or border, you have to provide other vital information.
