David Adedeji Adeleke was born on the 21st of November 1992 in Atlanta, the USA into the family of Mr/Mrs. Adedeji Adeleke.

Davido is the second son of his father and is the youngest of five siblings. He grew up in Lagos, where he attended the British International School and finished his secondary school education. Later on, he proceeded to continue his education at Oakwood University in Alabama where he studied business administration but dropped out at some point to give full-time focus to his music career.
