So, Who is the richest blogger in Nigeria this year? Not everybody knows the amount of money that can be attained from using the internet to do business.

Bloggers and other digital marketers have been able to leverage the power of the internet and turn every second you spend on their site into a jaw-dropping bank alert.

Not a lot of people know this name or the story behind the name, but Seun Osewa is one of the richest bloggers in Nigeria and Nigeria’s most successful digital entrepreneur.

Seun Osewa is the brain behind the popular online forum, Nairaland. Nairaland is an online community created by Seun Osewa in March 2005. Nairaland is the biggest online forum in Nigeria and one of the most visited sites in the World.

Before Nairaland, Seun had three blogs that failed and a forum, Mobile Nigeria [now Nairaland].  The only one we could track is seunosewa.com seems to be inactive since 2012.

Nairaland began as a small blog in 2004 but now boasts of over 200 million monthly page views, three million registered users, and about five million posts.

We estimate that this amazing site is worth $190 Million. Surprisingly, Seun is a university drop out. Seun Osewa was a brilliant student of the great OAU [Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife] in the Faculty of Engineering where is read Electrical Engineering. He dropped out of OAU  in his third year due to an injury he had.

Linda Ikeji is the most popular blogger in Nigeria. Her fame came after her beef with Nigerian songwriter and entertainer, Wizkid. Shortly after her quarrel with Wizkid ended, Linda Ikeji purchased a mansion worth ₦500 Million in Banana Island, Lagos.

Linda is the muscle behind the notorious lindaikejiblog, which stands as one of the biggest and most visited entertainment blogs in Nigeria. Linda Ikeji started blogging on blogger [A free CMS platform] before moving her site to WordPress.

BellaNaija is a lifestyle, entertainment, and fashion website headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. This blog has a social footprint that has grown through its collective brands.

Uche Pedro lives a private life except for the pictures she posts on her Instagram handle. She has been featured on several international awards, magazines, and talks shows.

She also gets most of her money from the Google Adsense program, Paid Ads, and other endorsement deals. Uche Pedro has assets worth at least $5 million.
