Tiwa Savage’s passion for music bloomed at a very young age. she could play the piano, drum, trombone, and guitar before completing secondary school.
At the age of 16, Tiwa was a backup vocalist in a song written by George Michael and Mary Blige. This made her kind of a veteran in music even before she started doing it professionally.
After completing her secondary education in the UK, she got admitted into the University of Kent, where she studied accountancy and graduated in flying colors. After completing tertiary education, she went ahead to practice what she had learned by landing a job at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Since she never had a passion for this kind of work, she had to quit. Fuelled by the passion for music, she went to study music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston where she learned how to create professional music, create hit tracks, and pass your message via your tune.
During her stay at the Berklee College of Music, she made friends with big names like Derek Pate, Dairen Dorsey, Radar Ellis, Keith Harris, and Scott Coleman. After completing music school, Tiwa Savage immediately put all that she had learned to practice by participating in the X-Factor, UK.

Around April 2016, Tee Billz had a failed suicide attempt and was saved by his friend and immediate medical attention. He accused Tiwa Savage of infidelity and Tiwa’s mum of witchcraft.
