The method is for people who don’t know how to operate phones very well. The option listed above might be somewhat complicated for them. This USSD is very simple and can be manually done.
To hide your number on 9mobile, follow these steps:
Dial *301# on your 9mobile phone.
Follow the prompts to hide your number.
You will receive a confirmation message that your number is now hidden.

For the iPhone, all you have to do is dial *67# and it will automatically turn it off. Or simply dial *301# again and follow the prompts.
