Nokia 3 Specs, Review & Price in Nigeria (2023/2024)

How Much Is Nokia 3 In Nigeria Money?

The one thing that nobody can deny about Nokia phones is how strong they are. It would seem that Nokia makes it a point to build their phones to withstand whatever the world throws at them. Apart from the fact that these phones are durable, they also feel good to hold. The Nokia 3 is one of these phones.

It is therefore shocking to note that many people in Nigeria are unaware of the new set of Nokia Android phones. Most Nigerians do not even know that Nokia makes Android phones.

I use one of the Nokia phones, and I always note the surprise of people when they realize that my phone is a Nokia. The Nokia phones are way too good to be ignored, so in this article, we will be looking at the Nokia 3.

The phone was launched in 2017, at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona, Spain by HMS Global. It came with the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, which are more significant variations of the phone.

I will be highlighting the specs and prices of the phone at the time of writing. So, keep reading.

The phone is packed with amazing and mind-blowing features that will leave you with no choice but to buy one.

The screen of this phone is equipped with Gorilla Glass, and the body is built with polycarbonate material. The Gorilla glass is arguably one of the most durable types of protective glass that can be used for a phone. It assures the safety of your phone screen, even in a severe fall.

The display of the Nokia 3 is 5.0-inch, while the resolution of the display is 720 x 1280 pixels. The size is 5.5 inches, perfect if what you want is a moderately sized device.

The Megapixels for the front and back cameras are both 8 MP. This may not be great news if you are someone who likes to take a lot of photos. But if you don’t consider a phone camera as very important, you are good to go with this camera.

The Operating System of this phone is Android 7.0 (Nougat), and it is upgradeable to Android 8.0 (Oreo). However, the internal memory size is 16GB and the external memory (memory card slot) can contain up to 128GB memory card.

The battery is a non-removable Li-Ion 2630 mAh battery and it is a dual SIM phone (nano-SIM). It comes equipped with 2G, 3G, and 4G.

The phone comes with the features of Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and USB, FM radio, Music/Video player, and loudspeaker. The Nokia 3 comes in four different colors and they are Matte Black, Silver White, Copper White, and Tempered Blue.

Just the way it is with all kinds of phones, the price of the Nokia 3 has reduced to a great extent, from its initial price at the time of release.

In 2017, the price of the phone started at around ₦35,900 and some stores even sold it for as much as ₦44,900. Today, you can walk into any store and get it for as little as ₦35,000.

In Nigeria, the price of the Nokia 3 ranges between ₦35,000 and ₦45,000 depending on a considerable amount of factors like your location, the store you are patronizing, the time of year you are buying the phone, and so on.

The phone does not have a fingerprint scanner and this is a downside because many people do not have the time to start inserting passcodes or setting patterns. Also, the fingerprint scanner is a very safe and secure method of keeping your phone locked.

The battery is only 2630 mAh, although Nokia phones will usually have long-lasting batteries.

Also, this phone doesn’t look as fine and sleek as the models after it. However, it is very affordable and lets you access the basic things you need an Android for.

The camera is not quite impressive as it is the same MP with the back and front. It lacks autofocus or face-detection features.

The phone may sometimes not be very quick to respond to instructions and this may make it drag more than is permitted. But this phone is perfect if you do not plan on using it for so much.

On Jumia, the cost of the Nokia 3 ranges from ₦35,000 to ₦39,900.  But this does not include the cost of delivering the phone to you. It is also possible that prices may also vary according to the color you want.

Nokia 3 goes for about ₦44,900 in SLOT Nigeria.

There are only slight differences between the Nokia 3 and the Nokia 3.1, but these differences may be what convinces you to choose the Nokia 3.1.

While the Nokia 3 operates Android 7.0, the Nokia 3.1 operates Android 8. Also, the Nokia 3.1 has an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. Whereas the Nokia 3 has both the front and rear camera as 8MP.

The cost of the Nokia 3.1 in Nigeria ranges from ₦35,000 to ₦45,000.

This is a bigger version of both the Nokia 3 and the Nokia 3.1. It comes with a better battery, a bigger screen, and also more storage space.

Apart from all this, the phone is also very slim and sleek. It is just perfect! The price of the Nokia 3.1 Plus in Nigeria starts at ₦40,000

The Nokia 5 is yet another wonderful addition to the Nokia family. Protecting the phone is gorilla glass. It also has an 8MP front camera as well as a 13MP rear camera so you cannot go wrong with taking photos.

The phone also comes with a stronger 3000mAh battery capacity and you will agree with me that this is great development from the Nokia 3.

It also comes with 16GB internal memory, a fingerprint sensor, and an Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system.

When the Nokia 5 first came out, it was sold for as high as ₦70,000. But today, you can get this phone for as low as ₦45,000.

So take your time and go through the specifications of these phones again. It should not take a lot of time for you to realize just how awesome this set of Nokia Android phones is.

Choose your pick and dash down to the nearest store to pick up the phone. Meanwhile, if you want, you can also go for the other models and enjoy all of the features that they come with.
